About Us
Established in 1989, the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation (MSH Foundation) has continuously raised funds to support health care for the more than 400,000 residents of Markham, Stouffville and the surrounding communities.
To meet the growing needs of the community, and thanks to tremendous support from generous donors throughout the years, the MSH Foundation has funded capital expenditures for equipment, IT infrastructure, and a major expansion and renovation project for Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Government funding can’t cover the cost of all critical life-saving equipment and top priority needs. Generous donor support is essential to the exceptional care that MSH patients can receive close to home.
Today, health care is changing at a rapid pace. The way the hospital cares for patients now will not be the way it cares for patients in the future. The MSH of tomorrow must transform health care for our rapidly growing, aging and diverse community.
